Welcome to MH Football Academy!

Home Ground & Venue

We are based at Byron park in Harrow which has great facilities including a clubhouse, changing rooms and free car parking; we train and play on grass that we maintain from spring until winter. As it gets darker in the winter, we train at the amazing Bannisters Sports Ground in Harrow on 3G pitches under the floodlights.

Playstyle Philosophy

In possession:

To be brave and get on the ball, with the first thought of playing it fowards for a fast build up or to intelligently know when to keep the ball and play a passing game until a the right space opens up for an attack.

Out of possession:

To restrict space, maintain a team press and defensive discipline. By being attentive in reading the game and learning to intercept before needing to tackle, and to be assertive if the latar. Moreover, to develop good knowledge of when to drop off as a team, recover and prevent the opposition attacking moments.

Transition:

“Gegenpressing” - to win the ball high up in the opposition’s defensive third within 6 seconds.
